Irrigation Efficiency Training

This course is recommended for dealers, farm managers and extension officers. The course, covering introduction to water meter validation, irrigation scheduling and calculating system capacity, will be run by Pat Daley, a highly respected independent irrigation and energy consultant with 40 years experience in designing, installing and managing irrigation systems. Co-presenter will be Michael Scobie, National Centre for Engineering in Agriculture, University of Southern Queensland.

 As an added bonus, the course is recognised as gap training towards a Certificate IV in Irrigation and CIAg (Certified Irrigation Agronomist).

 Through theory and practical components the training will cover:

  • Introduction to water meter validation
  • Irrigation scheduling concepts
  • Scheduling irrigation diary training
  • Calculating irrigation system capacity
